Friday Favorites Giveaway! ~Contest is Closed! ~

And the Winner Is: Jinxy and Me

Today's Featured
Christian Mom
in Direct Sales
is Arlene Gianelli!

More About Arlene:

My name is Arlene Gianelli and I am an Educational Consultant. I've been with the company for almost 14 years, ever since my oldest daughter was 9 months old.

Short Description of Company: For 30 years, Discovery Toys has been providing the highest quality books, toys and games available, each backed with an unconditional satisfaction guarantee. The quality and safety of our toys is as important to us as the layers of learning crafted into each toy we develop.

A little about you: My husband and I have been married for 27 years, and we have two daughters who are now 14 and 10. I am the typical SAHM, who spends more time behind the wheel of the car than actually at home. Wouldn't trade it for the world, though.

How long have you been a Christian and a little about your faith: As a cradle Catholic, I have been a Christian all my life. During some very difficult periods in my life, it was my faith that sustained me. My faith is part of who I am, and is the basis of how I conduct my life.

Why would someone want to join your particular team? When you join my team, you can count on having an upline who is ethical and cares about your success. I will help you every step of the way. I won't leave you floundering in your business.

What is the start-up costs (in entirety. taxes and everything) The Success Start kit includes 18 of our best selling toys, and business supplies to get your business started. It also includes a Free personal website for 3 full months. Cost for the success kit is $125 and $33 UPS fee. Sales tax is based on your delivery zip code. The kit can be ordered with a $35 credit card deposit, with 2 subsequent monthly payments on your credit card. With our Success Start program, you can also earn a refund of your kit price, as well as other bonuses.

What is the required purchase to stay active? Placing orders totaling $150 in a month keeps a consultant active for 3 months. Then a consultant would go to inactive status, where she can remain for 9 months until she is dropped. Placing orders totaling $150 in a month would start the active status again at any point.

  15. I think it's wonderful when companies such as Mary Kay and Discovery Toys allow women to be successful, work from home, and enjoy it. I know some success stories with both companies, and I know there are other companies that offer alternative income methods as well. Congrats to Arlene! :) I love reading success stories on Friday. Gets the weekend off to a wonderful start. I'm popping over from SITS roll call. Have a wonderful weekend.
